I know steam punk is becoming more popular now. My question is, what type of steam punk ideas are you thinking about? Over the past couple of years I have seen more and more people dressed up in steam punk then in previous years. Steam punk at this point in time is going hot and fast.

I am thinking of setting up a steam punk cost to myself. My ideas on turn-of-the-century military or motorcycle military. I'm thinking uniform along the lines of World War I to World War II. Now I don't know whether or not if it's going to be American, British, or German style.

If I do this I am thinking about an officer's uniform. The uniform will include the knee-high boots preferably for riding, flared riding Breaches, An officer's shirts, officers coats, officer issued colt 45 hip holster, Colt 45 replica( air soft with orange tip),and officers hat.

I am thinking of purchasing a motorcycle in the upcoming couple of years that is a replica of a German BMW motorcycle with sidecar. This uniform will go hand-in-hand with that era. It will be modified to have steam punkish Flair to it. Now I just need feedback and opinions If this can be done well.

I look forward to seeing what everyone has to say and ideas that are thrown out.

I can see that for you anyways. I mean I know you are planning on getting a motorcycle when you get the funds and what not So i can see that working well for youl.

That is correct. I do plan on getting a motor cycle. it will take some time. But I do plan on doing that style steam punk costume. Just going to take me time and ideas to think of what I ultimately want to do.

That is cool. I think a cool steam punk idea could be steam punk star trek. I can see Scotty using a steam driven  computer or saying "Im Giving its shes got cap'in but she cant take no more steam"!
